I'm still not done with Maggie's truck, but I've been looking for another one to build in the mean time! This truck is going to be much like hers but doing all the things I learned along the way building hers! But many things will be very different!! On to the pics of the new truck!

I bought the truck off of craigs list in Oklahoma a mounth or so ago. He got it from the orginal owner. It has 77 thousand miles on it. It has rust in some weird places and a few crazy dents but over all its nice. I also bought a short wheel base frame to get started on so I could leave the truck together until I was ready for the body. I plan on shorting the bed, but every things else I plan on doing, you will have to check in every now and than to see what that is!! For those that follow me on instagram you all ready know what a few of those plans are!!

2 questions.

1. The holes drilled 1" towards the rear? I assume this is to make the wheel center the bed when laid out? I remember coulter lengthened his trailing arms to accomplish center wheel. Is that the same plan by drilling the holes?

2. When did you order the parts from Thorbech? Trying to get idea how long it took to get parts from them. I know a few people who are still waiting on their parts. One is ridiculous amount of time and still no parts.

Yes towards the rear, same as if I lendthen the arms.
I got my parts super fast, I've done buiness with him before and I've had to wait, I'm guilty of dealing with people I like.

Like Coulter said, the secound time around goes faster and you always would do something different!! On this truck I wanted the least amount of notch with a 30" tall tire. This truck will have a 2" taller tire and 2" deeper bed!!

Re: Jason's Bagged Farm Truck

Thanks Jason,

The inside of the notch is recessed into the frame just a bit? And why did you not use the whole notch? Was it to much?
