Nice looking setup, how low does it hang though? Also, I'd like to see more pictures of your truck, especially the rear suspension.

lukecp 01-25-2004 12:15 PM

I see you are just letting the mufflers end with no tailpipes...

Good work...Flow's sound the best that way :D
Especially if you have a mean motor, what it looks like you do :burnout:

Randy70C-10 01-25-2004 12:47 PM

Your truck's a real piece of work, awsome!

dtlilly 01-25-2004 12:55 PM

I have to say that truck is a work of art, very, very nice. Do you have a chrome fly wheel dust cover to put on there?

valley 67 01-25-2004 01:37 PM

thanks guys for the comments. i will be running tail pipes just have to get bed mounted to see where to go with them they hang about 1 1/2" below frame rail truck is bagged but im not laying frame just want truck to sit low and still be able to clear speed bumps when needed trucks front tire has about 1/8" clearence before it hits and had to bring up rear 1" up so i would not have to do cut through again i just want low but dont want tofab up new inner fender wells for frnt and hood hinges as well as making larger c-notch im happy with what i have i wim post pics of 4 link later my daughters calling

jay-dawg 01-25-2004 02:06 PM

Is that with the stock tranny crossmember?

Jay

72c10step 01-25-2004 07:21 PM

What type of headers do you have on that motor?

valley 67 01-26-2004 02:06 AM

cross member is one I made for 700r4 trans headers are sanderson C-10 . The haeders on motor pics were hugger headers that were just going to make more bends than I wanted so I swapped for the sandersons imo great quality headers they are also ceramic coated. still need to clean up mufflers to match tubing and get rid of weld spots. and make them look more presentable. as for 4 link pics here you go and no i dont mind when some else post pics other than me its kind of cool that you guys keep track of it and all of the comments are much appreciated we just do what we can. we just do it on the side to have fun and do work for friend and aquaintences. we have 2,41 willys were waiting for parts for to continue here are pics of it 2nd willys the same only will be stuffing 392 blown hemi.

front brackets are same elevation as bottom of frame stainless bars as is panard bar that we put a break in bar to keep rear from kicking over from full up to full down rear shifts 3/16th" from ride height set up rear axel mounts are welded to axle tube then we welded air ride brackets to them.

PrimeredThunder 01-26-2004 03:33 PM

Oh man I like that 4-link...Where'd you get the parts or did you fab it up yourself? was your truck a coil or leafspring truck? I'd love to do something like that in the future. Damn nice rides you got there dude.
