nice headers and how does your rig ride, i have about the same stack of leaves on mine http://www.gotmud4x4.org/PIC/bluelift2.jpg http://www.gotmud4x4.org/PIC/bluelift1.JPG im hoping this next winter project upgrading to the 2 1/2ton club Military ROCKWELLS http://www.gotmud4x4.org/PIC/rockwells.jpg whats the saying go BIG or go home |
Re: Let's see the 1 ton 4x4s!
Suprisingly it rides pretty good. The problem is keeping the "light" rear end hooked on dirt. 500ish HP with a spool and 456's.......Worthless in the snow and ice. Even with this leaf setup, the axle wrap when pulling is BAD! I have to block the suspension when I pull to keep from bouncing. I'm looking for some over the frame headers that will allow me to use mufflers for street use. If I'm getting into the throttle here and there I average ONE MPG fuel economy!!!!!!!! Its just gonna get worse next year when I go 14 : 1 CR and .65 lift!!!!! Yes, it is purpose based only. Pullin' and mud boggin'. Your leaf pack is Outrageous!

Re: Let's see the 1 ton 4x4s!
Great looking rigs, long bed stepsides look good as a 4x4. Blazerman, did you build the front bumper yourself?
Bram: I like everything about your truck, the color and the way it sets is perfect. What size tires and rims are those? |

Re: Let's see the 1 ton 4x4s!
When you go to cross over do you need the factory centerlink or will you be buying/using a kit that eliminates the centerlink ? Where I am going with this is I need a factory centerlink for my truck and they are never for sale unless attached to an axle let me know when you get a chance thanks Mike
