Well I finally picked up another project that I am gonna build with my father in law,1956 chevy swb. I t has been stuck in this shop for 10 years and its a cali truck.. I am still going through the boxes of parts so I m still not sure of everything that I have but heres what I have so far. All new glass, new vdo guages, tilt column,b@m shifter, recovered bucket seats, paint ,primer and clear came with it. It has a nova front clip and rear with posi power steering and many boxes that I have not gotten to yet. 400 small block with a th400 tranny with b@m guts and pan. Well heres the pics not really sure what Im gonna do other than put it back together and drive it. Bed it perfect and only to spots of cancer on the whole truck....

We were told the truck would fire right up and run but that was not gonna happen so after the fireballs through the carb we went ahead and loaded it on the trailer. The drivers door in in the bed of the truck both doors have all ned guts still in the baggies from golden state pick-up parts.

That box im looking into has all the new seals for the truck. the fire wall and door jambs are shot a mustang blue/green but the truck will be red when its done. Got her to fire up after some new plugs and setting up the points dizzy. The truck had suck a massive air leak that it sounded like crap,so I tore off the carb the guy just installed and he put the star washers down and then put the carb gasket on top and followed through by putting the carb on top of that:crazy: A new gasket and the washed on top of the carb and its runs and sounds great. Brakes still work and the posi has no problem lighting up both tires.:metal:

Re: project " little daisy"

Well yesterday was like takeing a few steps back. I fired up the compressor and blew the hose so I had to fix that.. Cleaned the shop up and busted out the sawz all so that I could cut out a small section where the driveshaft was rubbing when you hit a bump. Dropped out the driveshaft and proceded to notch crossmember and they it happened I see fluid and think wtf did I cut gas ? brake line so I stop the saw and run for a bucket. Turns out the brake line runs accross the crossmember and it was so dirty I did not see it. Then I proceded to pop off the diff cover to change out the rear fluid and check to see if there really was a posi back there???? guess what no posi not really a big deal but I hate liars... So I get the rear end buttoned up and put the drive shaft back in and fire her up gonna move her out so I can take some pics she runs great and the after getting warmed up she dies crap.... So I check out everything and damned if shes not outta gas so into town I go... Hopefully today will be more productive... wish me luck..
