What is all this white stuff on my truck!!!
 

SNOW!!!! We got some snow down here in the South today! We were expecting 2-3 inches so I got the K-20 ready to drive to work for night shift. I woke up and we only had a dusting. My wife and kids did this "artwork" on my windshield! It's supposed to get down to 8 degrees over the weekend!

It's winter for sure.
The temp is exactly zero Fahrenheit in Kansas City right now. We have about a foot and a half of snow on the ground. On up north it's much colder.

Holy crap it's cold out. Weatherchannel say 21 but feels like 6 :lol: I need to finish my leather bucket seat install in my S10 so I can drive it again. I kicked the 67 out of the garage, put the s10 in and put a heater out there. I may try again in an hour :lol:

So... who drew all the hearts on the hood? :D

Ya'll are spoiled. Mine is snug in the garage.Here's the wifes Impala.I ran the snow blower every where else. More lake effect tonight.

We've got 4 or 5 inches here on the ground. Played yesterday with the fourwheeler and an innertube. Got up this morning to around 7 degrees and wind. Just about too cold for fun. Still gotta chop ice for the livestock to drink though.

You guys are making me feel bad....it's already up to 19, here. Wind chill is way less, but I've seen colder and windier. Didn't like it then, either. At least the streets are clear. Don't make it any warmer.

I don't know why I found this funny but I did. It is -29*F here right now and it doesn't feel to bad since there is no wind. It is sunny enough to melt some snow off the garage roof.

I don't see how you guys up north do it!! It has not been above freezing for 3 days now and it's not expected to until next week. People freak out down here on the very mention of snow. They predicted 2-3 inches and the grocery stores got raided - you guessed it, bread and milk. With the light dusting they have closed schools for 2 days. OK Northerners, you can stop laughing now!!

its around 23 here but feels like lits 10 we wont see above freezin till sat around noon. Almost 3 full days of below frezzin is not normal here

JQ, that's awesome. When I'm down in Muscle Shoals I always venture over to Turtle Point in Killen to play a quick 18! And yes I did crack up about the grocery stores being mobbed over a little dusting of snow...LOL!

That is funny. I don't think people raid the grocery store when they predict 18" of snow. When they predict lots of snow all I think about is how much fun it will be to go bust some snow drifts with the duramax. Here is a pic of a picture of a pickup in my back yard. The snow was knee deep just walking to it.

It was 8 deg out this morning and the '72 GMC busted right off, first start.
How many you guys driving your trucks daily in this stuff? I am in OK and drive it daily with no issues yet.

It's suppose to be 18* tomorrow morning here in San Antonio. Thats what I get for saying nice day on New Years Eve and driving the topless Blazer outside in 60* weather :lol: UGH... I hate cold weather!

I'm still waiting for snow. We got about an inch a couple weeks before Christmas but it was gone the next day. I wishing for more and for it to stay around for more than a day.

That is a great picture JQ-72. You need to have that enlarged and framed...

Here are a couple of pictures of me in the process of digging a path out to the shop. It is about 25 or 30 yards out there. The wind chill is -10º and as many clothes as I have on you still get cold mighty fast.

This is the third storm we have had like this this winter...:(

Dang Leon you need a bigger shovel. Mine has a 4' swipe, and the other has a 8'2" swipe. LOL It is -14* right now and is supposed to get down to -16* then factor what ever wind chill. The high tomorrow is going to be like _2 last I heard. Dang, and it is only the first week of January. Global warming my a**!

Kinda neat pictures. Pretty boring here in California, to be honest. Yesterday it was 80 degrees at 4 in the afternoon and clear blue skies - there wasn't even any dew on my pickup. Not necesarily normal for us, but the good thing, I would think, is that it's gonna move east, towards you folks, eventually (hopefully before May). We need old El Nino to kick in and start giving us some rain.

No snow here but we have not seen the sun in over a week. Its time to take a trip to the mountains and get out of this fog and see some snow that I don't have to shovel.

Above freezing?!? It hasn't been much above zero here for a week or so.
Around New Year's, at the in-laws farm out on the prairie, it was -30 one morning. It was 100 degrees warmer in the house.

Yesterday I caught the local (Twin Cities, MN) noon news. The weather guy showed a graphic of Miami's forcast. They had "Bitter Cold" written above today's 50 degrees. That is 64 degrees warmer then here right now.

Last night I walked about a mile or so from my car to the Gopher hockey game. Down there in Minneapolis it was a balmy 5 or 6 above. I shed 20 degrees just driving about 40 or so miles north to my home.

Like they say, the cold winters keeps the riff-raff down south.
