I have a good friend and I swear that he has a magnet to find these trucks, He always turns me on to the unique ones, The wheels I usually find them by word of mouth, swapmeets, craiglist, ect.

Re: My latest patina...A 1970 update

It's funny how after combing over many of these trucks paying attention to every detail and reaching for perfection we end up digging the "I don't give a damn" look. That's me. I still love an every nut & bolt super clean machine, but finding one to just casually drive is just so cool. One that looks like it's been there/done that/still doin' it. I get guys who can't handle it. They're still stuck on the fast track to perfection mode and can't stand seeing all that potential not being taken advantage of. To me,it's the look of an old veteran. These trucks have been loved forever and to see one that's was obviously all cherried out many years ago, then aged from use is just wicked cool. It's not unusual for someone to own one of these trucks for a long long time and a truck like ":cool:ld Gold" has the look that just screams that vibe.

BTW: Kewl '64 wagon. Every truck guy should have one
