65 GTO "Got Goat?"
 

Well for those who are following my quadcab build its still going.. just pushed for this one to begin.... :lol: this one will be a little faster of course... i won't be cutting it up so much :lol:

here is what we got a 1965 GTO tri power car with 4 speed... the car will be running a 400 with the tri power due to the original motor not being in the car better motor anyways. the car will have black interior factory look... and a clean lowered stance. its well underway now and i will have some pics up for you soon thanks

had to patch the drivers floor and the trunk pan the rest of the car is in real nice shape some small spots on the quarters and she is ready for metal work such

I've got a Montero red '65 Lemans with parchment interior. 326 with a 3 speed.

Got the frame all blasted and today it will be painted so i will post more pics soon here it is blasted and the car will be 4 wheel disk when done not sure if i mentioned that...

pay no attention to my wife hiding around the corner she is camera shy :crazy: :lol:

yeah did that handed them some tools and said strip it..... never seen a car disassembled so fast:lol::lol: they even took screws out that i didn't know were there :lol:

here is the frame all painted.... assembly will begin this weekend .... this is going to be a real nice driver

Hey 68_Quad.... If you happen know where a '64-'65 Tempest/Lemans/GTO drivers side door might be on your side of Idaho, would you let me know? I've been on a hunt for one and haven't had any luck.

My sister lives in IF so picking it up would be pretty easy.

You are one lucky mofo!!! Great work! And as stated before, 65 has got to be the best year Goat. Slimmer like the 64 but stacked headlights like the 66-67.

its an industrial black paint... that you can pic up at Cal Ranch stores it is really tough and holds up against the elements very well... it works perfect for cars that are built to drive and enjoy :lol:

oil base paint ? w/ hardener or not? i like the gloss level it has
