this will be my set up except the wheels will be pc'd white and the caps will be white with 533 green rings where the black is the bowtie will stay the same color.
I'm gonna wait to get the wheels done till the body work is almost finished so they dont get slopped up because I dont have a spare set of rollers in 5 lug

Wow Shawn, 2" shorter in front seems like alot with this type of setup but maybe not. can't wait to see it.

MNB, thats very similar to what I have in mind except I will be running white 70 poverty caps.

An older thread, but one I missed somehow. Thanks for bringing it up. There's some really great trucks.

Here's Mine. Thin whitewalls are the only way to go with stock wheels and caps, imo.

Who makes tires with the thin whitewalls? I think they'd be great on my truck with the P01 wheel covers.

Wow! Nice looking truck. Do you have a build thread for it? I looked and found your introduction thread that started with a photo of the truck with a mattress in the bed. It sure has come a long way. Kudos on a beautiful restoration. Would love to see more pics, inside and out.

I'm debating on this or my Blazer, last year I ran my Dodge diesel and slept in that on the park grounds and left early Sunday morning. My buddy has a spot with all the WWll military Dodges, they set up a small camp. Sorry for the jack

I have cooper trendsetters on mine also. I had to have discount tire special order them, but they are still available, at least as of last September.

Thanks for the kind words, Chris! It definitely has been a long journey. I never did a build thread, as I spent 8 years working on it as it was, and I never was really sure if I'd ever be finished. I do have a link to few pictures I've posted along the way in my signature below. I don't know if they show up for anyone else but me,

I looked, and I don't have any good pictures of the interior now that it's fairly complete. I'll have a take a few and post them to my album.

Funny story: I spent more "research" time trying to find a match for the original dealer stencil on the bumper than I did on almost anything. It took me forever, but I was finally able to get a stencil cut from an original machine of the same type originally used by the dealer to paint their name on the bumper. I know a lot of people will think I'm crazy, but I really wanted that historical reference to remain on there.

My local tire guy couldn't get the Cooper Trendsetters for me as of about a week ago, but he was able to get their Mastercraft version (made by Cooper) A/S IV

Haven't mounted them yet, as they wheels still need blasted and painted though.

I will post them here when done!
