well, this is what I am calling project evolution as it will be using parts from basically every dang truck out there..lol..not really, but close...My boy and I are tackling this project as this will be his first rig to drive when he gets older,,

passeneger side,had to fix the lower cup on the fender and patch the holes from the emblems(forgot to take pics along the way at that point)

started in on the rear quarter,,and found some nice rust(pretty sure that was gonna be in there...had to remake a floor support bracket and a piller piece,,a lil tricky,,but they will work

Nice work! I am working on the same area of the quarter panel now.
It is a real pita to get everything to bolt back in to place withe the new rocker
Boxes I purchased.

i havent got that far,, im hopin i can just patch the boxes,,,the front cab mount was a PITA to get out,especially with having the box in there

got the floor pan in and the inner and outer rockers and the front piller...what a mess,,,but its all done on this side.. got a different door on,,doesnt look too bad,,now i need to find a rear quarter

That looks like you've made a lot of progress since I got the seats from you!

Where did you get the patches for the forward part of the bed, just behind the doors?

i got all the sheetmetal from lmc,,had it in 2 days from ordering it,,just make sure you open the boxes outside,,peanuts everywhere..lol

finally got all the bed panels patched...just have to put on a new rear quarter and fix the drivers kick panel and the rust will be no more

Got tthe body off of the frame,,thats harder then it looks for one of these,,made a lil cart and tipped er on er side..once again,,harder then it looks,,then i realized i dont quite have enough room,,so its not sitting all the way,,but i have a comealong helping me from a beam in the garage,,its pretty darn safe so im not worried

made it easier..yes,,but let me tell you...12 hours of removing undercoating sucks bad...its finally done,, got the rustoleum bed coating applied,hopefully it looks good in the morning

bottom side is all done,,come out pretty good for a roll on paint,,feels really durable,,i guess only time will tell

That looks a whole lot better I will say. And the removal of undercoating, the job i hate the most!

well, got the rear quarter done,,ended up only using about 4 inches of it since it was bent wrose then what i had, after 8 layers of paint and 1/2 inch of bondo was stripped from it..lolcame out really good.

got it all stripped to bare metal,did a lil bit of body work, i will finish that when its on the frame. and got some epoxy primer on it. that is some tricky stuff,,but all in all looks pretty good

got a surprise tonight..started opening up the rear diff to put in some new bearings and seals,,and all be damned if there isnt a posi,,,the spid didnt have it on there,,so im not sure where it came from,,but im glad its there

getting the transfer case all tore down,,replacing all gaskets and checking all the bearings...those needle bearings are a serious PITA.

found some center caps that cover the lug nuts,,i really dont like looking at lug nuts,,i remembered eagle made some of these caps about 10 years ago,,so i just had to find some,,had to cut the fronts to fit,,but i like the look

it slides right over the hub,,about an 1/8 of an inch clearance all around it..no issues what so ever

thanx..it would be coming along alot faster if i had a chance to get a doner truck for the engine/tranny,,been workin 14 hr days for awhile now...just aint enough time in the day
