Found this gem!
3 Attachment(s)
Found this 1972 Sierra Grande K2500 Ochre that appears to have lived most of it's life on a farm. Has 99,700 original miles, drove it home yesterday 500 miles, no issues whatsoever. Will post more pics when I can.
Rims & tires will be the first thing to be replaced. The interior including the seat is immaculate! Came with original bill of sale from "72 as well as the build / shipping sheet from GM to the dealer. Maybe someone could flip the SPID thanks. |

Nice score. Awesome Grande K2500, That’s a great set of options! What’s your plans for it?

Re: Found this gem!
What, no air conditioning?? Pass.
Kidding of course. that's a prize! More pics please. Congrats. Interesting that the BE mirrors were painted not stainless, a real mice match with the two tone scheme. |

Re: Found this gem!
That is one that should be preserved in as original state as possible.
|
Re: Found this gem!
That's very nice! Is that heater hose molded, so that it isn't touching the fuel line?

Re: Found this gem!
Nice buy. I would love to have that truck and use it. The color and a GMC...just love it.

Re: Found this gem!
Couple questions for you guys, what are the fuel tank capacities? Main behind seat and auxiliary under bed.
Also can’t seem to get the seat back to tilt for access behind seat...? My ‘64 seat tilts forward....but not the ‘72 |
Re: Found this gem!
I think after '67, seats folding forward were mandated out of existence for safety reasons. The tank in my '70 is 19 gallons, but I think I've seen optional larger ones. Don't hold me to that, though. No idea on the aux tank. I have aftermarket saddle tanks that are 16 gallons each.

Ahhhh, that’s better!!!
Found some 16x7 steelies, sandblasted and powder coated white, pretty happy with the result.... |
Re: Found this gem!
I would take that over Pamela Anderson any day.♥️
Beautiful truck and yes I'm jealous |
Re: Found this gem!
I don’t think it could get any better than that. Perfect!
|
Re: Found this gem!
2 nice trucks and a KTM, really nice grouping right there.Good call on the new wheels looks awesome. The stance looks better too.
|
Re: Found this gem!
Absolutely wonderful, except for the modern wheels. Like the 16's and caps, but some wide white 16.5's would even more enhance that beautiful thing!
