Who still makes extended ebrake cables for lifted K10?

Called inline tube they no longer do over factory length ebrake cables.

have a 72 K10 - shortbed 4x4 truck - 6" lift. Stock ebrake cables too short.

Looking for anyone that makes a bolt in longer ebrake cable and cant find anywhere. If anyone has a direct website link would help even more.

I believe Offroad Design does. For some reason their website is down at the moment otherwise I'd provide a link for ya.

Inline must have had people ordering them wrong and trying to return. That was their reason for not wanting to do anything other than per factory spec back when I first persuaded them to make overlength brake hoses and cables years ago. What a shame.

Their factory length cables that I bought for my K20 were too short.. after fiddling for several hours I realized the backing plate end piece was clamped on the cable 3" inches from the end of the cable.. I spread the piece back open, slid it down the cable to the very end where it was supposed to be and tig welded a few good spot welds and it fits great now.. The end of the cable housing was sticking into the brake drum so far it was actually hitting the front brake shoe.
Inline tubes customer service sucks..

Yeah, that guy I dealt with was about a gruff and grumpy s.o.b. But I hung with it and showed him he had no reason not to meet my request. This was back in '04 and both cables and brake hose worked out flawlessly. I also used their line across the axles and it was amazingly accurate. Threaded in to the wheel cylinders first try both sides. Sounds like they have gone downhill. Bummer. They have been my go-to hose and line place for a long time.

There is a place in California called control cables that will make them so I heard.

I tried to get cables from them this past summer and they were closed down due to Covid and had no idea when they would open again. All I got was a message machine.

I had Custom Control Cables make a set for me a few months ago, mine wasn't for a lifted truck though, it was for rear disc conversion. They have all the different sizes and types of ends to choose from, you measure your cable lengths, choose your ends and they make what you want.

I used Six States in Salt Lake City Utah, mine were rusted solid and I added
a 4 inch skyjacker lift. Can't remember how the length was determined.

On my 59 using an 80 k10 cable on a 67 12 bolt for a 4 inch lift, I extended the frame mount out and lengthened the intermediate cable (1/8 inch stranded cable) to get a no tension on the cable with rear tires hanging free on the lift.
