Quadrajet inlet fitting
 

So here I am, installing a new (more performance oriented) Summit racing fuel pump, and I need to buy a new hose from the fuel pump to the Q-jet. Does anybody have any tips as to what I should buy? The old line got a bit mangled in the removal so I couldn't even re use it if it even lined up right. I found these on Summit, would they work? https://www.summitracing.com/parts/sum-g3152/overview/

They will but you’ll need the correct an to male flare at the carb.
Why not just bend up a new steel line.
What high performance pump are you gonna use?

If you have a tube bender, you can make one from steel brake line available at the parts stores. Or, you can buy one already made.

I recommend using the steel brake line like Steeveedee suggests. You can buy them pre-assembled at the parts store, such as O'Reilly or Autozone, with flares and fittings. Then cut one end off and keep the flare fitting. Bend, cut to size, slide the fitting on, flare, and connect. Flare tool and bending tool are available to rent for free with a small deposit at the parts store. So the whole thing ends up costing 5 to 10 dollars. You can make a quite professional fit line even if you have never done it before.

I noticed those summit pumps put out 8psi and the Qjet might flood if you run more than 6psi. Mine did so I installed a regulator.

Make sure to be real careful and use their best tool, too. Those lines are prone to kinking, really easily.

On a 350, the 3ft pre-assembled line is a good length to reproduce the stock line routing.

I never was one for hoses between the pump and carb. On the pressure side, if it was to split, it would spray gas all over the hot engine. Hard line only for me.

I'd invest in a decent tubing bender, you won't regret it. You can buy pre-bent as mentioned above. If you want 3/8", I couldn't find any at LMC (they list 1/2 ton only) or Inline Tube (other than a complete front to back for $60 for 3/4 ton). Am assuming this is for your 72 C25? Might call Inline Tube, tell them your application, and tell them you only want the pump to carb line, pretty sure they could accommodate if you want to go pre-bent. I looked at Classic Tube and they only listed 1/2 ton also. 5/16" may be fine (and is available from Inline and Classic), but I think 3/8" was generally associated with 3/4 ton truck pumps (maybe someone can confirm that - I'm not 100% certain that is the case).

I just bought a reproduction line from Summit for my kids ‘72 Jimmy. 3/8 steel line should be sufficient for any power on the street. I tweaked a repop line to fit a Carter street pump on my Jimmy.

I bought repop ‘66 425 hp 427 lines for the L36 with 750 dp I’m putting in my short step so I’m a fan of the OEM style lines.
