The new vehicles that were parked inside are nice, but boy it sure seems like the used cars that were left outside to rot look like junk yard trucks that people are paying a premium for

From what Delmo said there are some cars/trucks that are too far gone but there are a bunch of very nice ones.

For example, this one sold for $4,000. Seems steep to me

Re: Lambrecht Auction Underway

While I see what you are saying, I started with a $6250 truck with 113,000 miles and spent almost $20k to date to redo and it is probably worth less than what I spent on it. If I started with a $4000 truck that was never titled and has 14 miles on it, and spent the same money, it may be worth more than I spent. The story alone is worth a few bucks. Too each his own... right?

Watching it too.

Too bad they didn't have the sale 25 or 30 years ago for the ones that were outside.

Herd mentality. Kinda like Black Friday at Walmart, when they bring out a pallet of crummy $9 DVD players. The sheep climb over each other to get one.

I'm watching this too. Crazy prices. Haven't seen any 67-72 trucks auctioned yet. Hope to see some though.
