Re: 69 Olive Verde

This was my first look at all the colors together and I am extremely happy with my decisions so far. Need to work on getting the top of the motor apart so I can get it all in its final colors.

Looks awesome. Please roll that cab and chassis out in the sun and take some more pics for us. Can't wait to see it in the sun.

Miles

I will whenever the sun comes out again. It's been overcast for days and I usually work till dark this time of year.

I just put that same push start system in my truck with power locks. If you have any questions I'll be glad to help you.

Thanks. I hope it's as good as it looks. Where did you mount everything?

Re: 69 Olive Verde

Mounted the 2 boxes behind the park brake assembly screwed 1 of them to the metal and other I velcroed to that 1.

Re: 69 Olive Verde

That works. Did you mount the push start where the old ignition was or elsewhere?

Re: 69 Olive Verde

Re: 69 Olive Verde

If you run led brake lights it will interfere with the brake switch signal the module needs. I had to make a bracket with a separate switch just for the push button. Took me 8 hours to figure that one out. Haha

Couldn't help but throw a few pieces inside to get a feel for the color combos. Also thinking about placing the battery behind the seat.

Thank you. Did get the hood hinges together and started wet sanding the bed sides while going crazy in my head trying to map out all my electrical system for the cleanest install I can possibly do.

More goodies. I now have 99% of my supplies to start wiring but I am still polishing...so boring. Absolutely sick of sanding period.

Impressive build, keep up the great work. Color choices for exterior and interior are spot on.
