Identify this part? 1966 Chevy C10

Been a while since I took the truck apart and now I'm putting the brake pedal assembly together and can't remember what this part was for and where it goes any assistance is appreciated.

I think it is related to either transmission linkage or throttle but not even sure of that.

yes automatic trans link 90 degree end goes to bracket on shift shaft on trans and the straight end goes thru a bracket mounted to frame
