Source for master cylider rubber cups?

Rebuilding three master cylinders fitting 3/4 ton Chevs (68-72), correct aftermarket "parts kits" for this one seem difficult to find, and kit prices in general seem not very decent.

Bore is 1.25" and I simply want to replace the 2 and 3 "hole in center" rubber/whatever cups used on the two pistons in each cyl. I have exact dimension measurements.

Where can a guy buy just the cups? Any help appreciated.

A few years ago I was having a hard time finding wheel cylinder kits for my 46 CJ2A Jeep.

My local Napa had a book that showed most of the years and makes of wheel slave cylinders and sizes. I just went in and started thumbing through it till I found what I thought would work. If I remember correctly it was a Crown Victoria like the Police cars that I decided would work, they were like $8 a kit and worked perfectly.

That could be an option for you.

I recall seeing them on GMCPAUL site. Not the easiest site to navigate but they have good quality parts and superior service.

Thanks for these replies. Have tried Ebay and still searching - bought two kits and vendor sent wrong dia. Says they do not have the 1.25" bore kit.

Tried local NAPA - they have no cups or kits. Did look in their books and found some, but mgr. says they can't get them. I plan to try NAPA warehouse in big city.

GMC Paul's does not show them, so just sent them an Email inquiry.

Thanks again. Any others?

Thanks for your effort.

Rear drum front disc (retrofit) and I had tried PartsGeek (will sell me an MC, but not internal parts) and have tried LMC, Brothers, GMCPaul's, etc.

Re: Source for master cylider rubber cups?

I have visited every decent parts place in the area and called others as far as 90 miles away. Seems they simply no longer stock the rubber cups used in rebuilding this MC.

The rebuilding kits online don't show 1.25 bore.

I have made contact with a brake cylinder rebuilder to see if they will sell me some - but contact does not seem to understand what I need.

So, bumping this up for another shot with you all. Any ideas?
