Fresh Air Vent Grille?

i am putting all new interior in my '57. i bought new kick panels with pioneer speakers in them that have the holes pre-cut for the fresh air vents. i have been able to find the cable kit to open and close the vent doors and also the seal kits but i cant find the vent grilles that bolt to the kick panel face. are these being remade and if so, where can i buy them?

I haven't seen these repopped. Should be a pretty easy junk yard score. I also see them sometimes in the classifieds.

i think the chances of me finding a 55-57 in a junkyard around here are slim to none unfortunately. i may just have to fabricate something

scoveny91. I see that you need some inside vent covers. How about these? They are not for sale. If you are interested send me a PM. They are in good shape. From a 55.

are you looking at blocking off the fresh air grille?

I saw these the other day.

i got my procar ralley seats from summit racing. my carpet is from stockinteriors.com. kick panels and mirror are from ecklers. sound deadening is from eastwood (eastwood mat same as dynamat but half the price). kenwood head unit is from amazon. retractable seat belts are from retrobeltusa.com

Ahhh, I remember I also bought the new kick panels, with the speakers too.

Then the reality check of .....I didn't have the grills either.

I just figured right away that I'd make my own.

It took some welding and grinding to get the final result.
