It's one of the best bangs-for-the-buck addition or mod I've made on the truck. Along with sound deadening and heat insulation on the cab floor, the truck is very quiet inside. Wind noise, road noise, and exhaust noise are all subdued compared to what I started with. May have to get some louder mufflers! |
Quietude
? Who needs mufflers ?! .
I realize it depends on your engine but most stock engines only need twice pipes with a proper crossover as close to the headers as possible and then a 2-1/2" pipe all the way to the back to sound very nice and not overly loud . |
Re: Big 10 adventure!
Goot lort!!! Ill never do another set of vent windows if I can help it. First one was a major pain!!!!! Second one went a little faster. But they are on there.

So here we go
Found a short frame about a week ago and picked it up. Now to start piling the parts. brake lines fuel lines suspension etc... Plan was to buy a truck weather long or short. Bought this one because of the condition.. no and i mean 0 rust. Found the frame here local for $100 |
Re: Big 10 adventure!
I bought a new set of rubber core support mounts from Classic Parts and installed them yesterday. Hopefully, they will hold up better than the ones I got from LMC.

Re: Big 10 adventure!
Wow 100 bucks for a rolling frame in good shape? I gotta travel to text some day.
