My 1986 M1009 CUCV Blazer

Bought this a few years ago and am in the process of doing a complete restore. Here is what it looked like when I bought it.

The "CARC" paint (Chemical Agent Resistant Coating) looked like. It was very faded.

The inside was also very faded and had some rust holes on the outer floor areas. Also a big hole in the drivers side inner fender.

Nice looking '09. Where did you get your seat covers? I have a M1009 that I've owed for about 5 years and its time to do some cancer surgery. Do you know where yours served? From what I can tell it was a Camp Perry, OH truck for most of it's life and were DRMO'd out of Redstone Arsenal, AL

I love those truck, yours seems to still be in good shape for the age. I was active duty Air Force 14 years and I just love those trucks.
Maybe someday I will add one to my collection.

Are you going to keep the military look? Keep it stock or modify?
