Blazer front top hold downs

5 Attachment(s)
Been working on these for a while now. Getting hard to find originals anymore so I took the ones off of my original paint 72 and made some up. Spent the coin to buy the exact size punch for my iron worker for the slotted holes as well. 16 gauge black steel cut, bent and mig welded together. Holes punched, bead blasted smooth in the cabinet. I have been trying to get my powder coating setup going but it is still not ready yet so I went ahead and sprayed self etching primer & 3 coats of satin white urethane on 5 sets to get started. If I get the powder coating going soon I am going to try my luck doing the rest of them that way. Price is the same either way. I test fit every one of them on my Blazer so the hope is they fit everyone's without having to open the holes up any but I can't promise everyone's top sits same as mine.

Will sell each pair at $85 shipped conus
If you want new stainless screws to go with them $93 shipped Conus
If you only need screws they are $11.50 per set shipped conus

EDIT: 5.14.20 I am currently out of screws. I will be ordering more in the near future if the demand returns. I also only have 2 sets of hold downs left and not sure I will be making any more

EDIT:8.26.20 SOLD OUT
.Edit: 7.7.22 have several sets on the shelf

I got excited and posted this a little earlier than I probably should have. I just got done spraying them so let me make sure everything is still good tomorrow before taking any payments. It will be after lunch before I can respond as I have to go out of town early in the morning for a job.

Thanks

If the interest is there this will be an ongoing thing. I made a template and already paid for the punch. I have 20 sets made up but only painted 5 sets today the rest are still raw at the moment. I might have to go ahead and paint this whole 1st batch and worry about the powder coating on second round.

Sorry for slow response. I have been out of town all morning then found out I won an item at a govt auction and had to go pick that up. Here are pics of the screws. $9.50 is for 6 screws and 6 lock washers all in stainless or $14 for 12/12. These are also the same screws used on the rear seat arm rest brackets

Thanks
Richard

If everyone pays that has asked for a set I am already out of the 1st 20 sets. I had no idea they were this needed. Looks like I know what I will be working on over the holidays.

I get asked a couple of times a week for them, I very needed item!! Now, you need to start making the hatch catches, that's another one I get asked a couple of times a week.

Been trying but my iron worker is limited and I have not found the trick to getting it rolled without totally effing it up. Have not put a whole lot of time into figuring out the catches just because of the other 103k user tabs I have open in my brain lol. The good thing is I believe the mounting holes are the same punch size. The front hold downs are time consuming but I am getting better at knocking them out.

I do have some ready to be shipped with or without bolts.

They have all been powder coated at this point. I blasted all the ones I painted originally and powder coated them as well
