Hey guys, have a 70 c20 and want to switch to a 5 bolt wheel for more options. I think I located a 1-2 ton rear but not sure on the fro t wheels, can I just change the drums?

I would think that if you have 3/4 ton axles and hubs, you would want to stick with those.... I would not convert to 1/2 ton if it were me.... You should have lots of options with 8-lug...

Welcome!!!!!

Your options for changing the front to 5 lug are easier that changing the rear to 5 lug. In your case, you may want to find a donor vehicle (71-87) for the whole front crossmember.

There are aftermarket spindles and brakes to do the conversion as well.

Thanks guys. Also have a 70 c50 dump truck I use daily for my roofing business. Looking for some rust free body panels, doors running boards. She's starting to look bad but runs to good to let go!
