a motorcycle would be better for vacations. not two, ONE motorcycle. that way the kids stay with grandma and you and the Mrs. can enjoy yourselves. LOL

I hear ya... or a vette!

Well, it wasn't the MFS acting up and not charging the washer fluid, the new one worked just the same... go figure. So I ran a hot wire to a starter push button switch and mounted it on the dash near the lights. Hopefully that solves it.

Only cost me $245 to transfer the title and get plates today!!!!!!!!!!! PA loves to tax the crap out of you that's for sure. There isn't a DMV of any sort in the towns that handle plates and titles. They allow civilian business to run that industry unless you want to drive to Harrisburg and save $40+. I didn't have the time so the "fees" were $60!!! I need to be a notary I guess... PURE BS>>

hey and the kiddos can harass each other in the back.. instead of kicking your seat on road trips..
just a friendly reminder.. those tv's dont stay put as well as the old ones do..
soo utilize the mounting holes int he back to make a secure bracket for it..
you can do it yourself for a few dollars instead of spending around 100 for a wall mount

well, I bought a $30 wall mount and it barely works.. also got the wireless headphones rigged.. SWEET!

Installed a new firestone airbag tonight, other one tomorrow... they don't do much but the suspension on these bad boys is nearly maxed out as it is. The old bags wouldn't hold air so $290 for a new kit was necessary.

Wifey has been cleaning for days, I chipped in and did the outside, roof patch, and bathroom... We were heading to upstate NY tomorrow but I need to mow the lawn, install an air bag and finish two chapters of Accounting homework!

It's coming along nicely but I wish the water heater and furnace would cooperate, the fridge works so that's a plus...

Got my second airbag installed... changed oil, air filter and welded a rear brace that had come loose on the hitch. Wife did a heck of a job on the interior. Most of it looks new again, some plywood needs changed due to roof leakage.

Ordered my second rubber roof today and a 27x10 carport from kingcanopy.com. They had it on clearance for $140 (tarp, sides, ends and poles)!! Only cost $109 to ship. I plan on extending the poles 4-5 feet so that the RV will fit under... Hopefully it doesn't look ghetto in my back yard.

Pics to come for anyone that's watching.. heading to upstate NY tomorrow followed by Canada on Thursday!!!

Oh yeah, I decided to tackle the fuel filter on the Onan generator... damn thing leaks now! I think if I tighten it any more it will break,,, any ideas? it's threaded on top and flared with nut on the bottom....

om watching.. this is in fact interesting..
hey for your wall mount... remember.. wall mounts wernt even thought of when these rv's were produced.. you might have to pull off that wall an make a "box frame" for the tv to set mounted to...

just my two cents..

well, I ordered my 10x27 carport from kingcanopy.com $250 shipped for a tarp like garage. Ordered another rubber roof from Indiana, 30' this time!

Cousin Eddie made his maiden voyage (form my family atleast) to Bob's Lake in Ontario Canada. 750 mile round trip with no issues.. except 8.5 MPG but that was my guess anyway!

I see a horse shoe, a bridge, some wheat, and what appears to be some kind of Hawaiian flower.

Re: Bought a F@RD!, big block EFI 460 1-ton... "PROJECT COUSIN EDDIE"

cousin eddie has a roof over his head now.. finally got around to setting up the 10x27 king canopy garage. Since this canopy was made with 6'6" side walls, I had to buy 10' poles at Lowes. I pounded them about a foot into the ground and bolted every single connection. TSC has great deals on bulk bolts, I used about 70 1/4 bolts, nuts and lock washers... should be more sturdy that originally intended.

As you can see the RV sticks out a bit, I installed the zipper door after these pics and I am going to make some inserts to make it wrap around the nose of the RV.

Remember, this canopy was/is on clearance for $150! and $100 to ship it all. New poles cost me $80 so for about 6 months rental storage i'll have this paid off!

If your house works anything like mine, by the time you get that 2.5 car pole barn built you will be needing a 5 car pole barn.

might be... I saw an ad in the paper yesterday, they are auctioning off the old town highway dept. garage. I think it had 6 or 8 bays, some large enough for the RV... hmmm, that's temtping.

4x4 races next year as well.Always looking for more people. I'm hoping to have the 67 4x4 panel ready to make a trip there as well next year. Mine is a poor mans version of your camper!

Eddie is now up for sale, decided that we don't need the expense of another payment....

I've had a few bites but so far nothing solid.. asking $7900 as is or $8900 if I do the roof. we'll see how it goes...
