"Chapo" My 1973 Gmc Sierra 2500 Build.
Hey Yall!
I Recently acquired a life long dream truck of mine, I found this 1973 Gmc Sierra 2500 at a buddy's grandparents house. I've been searching for years for the Right truck with a good back story, The first few times i asked about it selling wasn't an option , but with a persistent push i scored it for 500$! My plan for this truck is to keep it as original as possible as far as paint and body go, I plan to patch the floors as there is a mild amount of rust. The drive train is being Replaced with a gm 5.3l ls and 4l60e out of a 2001 silverado. But the biggest goal is to pull the frame out from under it and beef it up along with bag and body drop it. I'm wanting to have a sweet and low riding heavy hauler when its all said and done. i know its a common trend to lay these trucks out but i haven't seen very many 3/4 tons. So here we go with the Day one pics! https://scontent-dfw5-1.xx.fbcdn.net...cf&oe=5B698A67 https://scontent-dfw5-1.xx.fbcdn.net...ec&oe=5B737AD1 https://scontent-dfw5-1.xx.fbcdn.net...46&oe=5B692F30 https://scontent-dfw5-1.xx.fbcdn.net...f9&oe=5B2BC80E |

Cool truck. You know you got a project on your hands when step one is trimming back the foliage. Look forward to seeing you bring this one back to life.
