What do I have here? Had to pick a prefix, I'm not sure what year or model etc.

Re: Hub Cap
'49-'50 3100 series? My '50 originally came with them.

Re: Hub Cap
'47-'53, depending on the diameter, 1/2 tons were smaller diameter than the 3/4 and 1 tons.

Re: Hub Cap
Thanks. It’s approximately 11” OD and 8.75” ID.

Re: Hub Cap
if you decide to sell it, I'd be interested for a wall hanger..
I like that classic style font :) |

also, being white with black lettering (instead of stainless) suggests that it is a korean war era cap (53-55). I dont know if the 3/4 or 1 ton 54-55 changed design like the 1/2 ton did (I think they did, went to the big chevy symbol instead of the lettering), otherwise you could say its a 53 for sure. |

Here's my wall décor which is approx. 9.75" OD, 7.5" ID. Gray background. The OP's hub cap also looks gray. Korean war was '50 thru '53.

Thanks everyone, good info. I wasn't even sure if this hubcap was truck related.

Re: Hub Cap
oops, I had the years of the war wrong, but I knew the 53 was the year without a lot of stainless. my current truck has a 53 front clip and the front emblem is in poor shape, I had the cab too and it had the painted glovebox door and speaker trim too.

Re: Hub Cap
One of those that isn't beat up or rusted up is somewhat of a rarity in it's own right. Probably trading material than cash greenie material.
