Nice looking start. Short & fat, kinda like my buddies girlfr...oh, never mind. Love the look of it with the 2-tone.

Damn, that is awsome. I would almost consider giving up my 73 for something like that, ALMOST. I dont know why but I would.

Re: 86 dually

Thats a really cool truck I've always loved that style dually but the welds on the frame notch are quite possibly the worst I have personally ever seen. I know that they are not your welds but good god.

78maliburat 09-21-2009 05:51 PM

Re: 86 dually

if those welds were supporting anything i'd worry lol ..i have a pinion seal leaking so ill clean them up when im under it

I like the regular cab dually's. That one looks great with the two tone scheme. Nice truck.

Nice truck. Can you tell me what size tires are on the front? Does it still have the stock front inner fenders?

Thanks

It's a hydraulic trailer brake controller.

Sweet dually!!

Re: 86 dually

Sweet indeed! I have an 86 standard cab myself and I am collecting ideas for mine. This one is fantastic!
Would love to hear more about the drop. I assume (from what I see) that the rear has had the springs flipped and the frame notched.. it looks like the front still has the original control arms, so is it lowered with spindles, springs or a combo of both?

Love that truck : )

PS: I too would love to know the tire sizes!

Re: 86 dually

Sweetness, Man. Reg cabs are cool. Gotta love a 4-speed.

But yeah, those notches look like Hackasaurus Rex...and why the heck did they cut the bed out like that?

Sweet Malibu, BTW. Got any more pics? I dig those wagons. My Mom had one when I was in middle school. I hated it.

...Obviously, I didn't have a firm grasp on what "cool" really was.
