Bought 2 of these for my truck,Took one and cut it apart and reformed it to fit the other side of my rad support..................fit up real nice!
then i Powder coated it...

Cool!

How did you "reform" the side plates? I was interested in doing this on my 66 but didn't see a straight forward way to do it with my limited hand tools at home.

I just need the side plates because I use the bottom plate from a 67-72 so I can use the bottom wedge instead of the top clamp.

i flaten them out and bent them back the other way then cut off the bent side and re welded it back on....
