Installing weatherstrip on top side to bed walls
 

Has anyone ever done this? Any pics? Where does the front piece end up and where does end go? there is a channel that curves around at the back but the weatherstrip kind of does a block strait off thing. Any ideas? Man this is maddening!

For anyone following this, I just finished my double wall for my '70 Blazer. The top was off for a year plus while it had body work and new body mounts put on, so that was a challenge. I used PRP top to bedrail, header bow and door seals. Highly recommend. I used 3M weatherstrip in paint tape to hold them on. I live in AK, so I used a hairdryer to warm them up a bit and get them pliable. After putting them on, the top did not fit very well, but after some seal heating it fit. I attached two of the bed rail bolts on the rear of the top and then worked the header. I actually had to pry the header slightly to get the top to drop in and seat properly, which is good for the sealing. Then I threw in the rest of the bolts and it dropped in well. I actually put some 40# sandbags on the top edges of the middle of the top to get some sag out (top taken off with old body mounts) and it all sealed up nicely. As far as the L-shaped end of the PRP seal: that went all the way to the rear of the lower top molding, though it didn't fit the channel perfectly, still worked. The flap on the other end is used to cover the top of the rear door seal. I also have a weatherstrip plug in the rear door strip.
