68 GMC putting it back together

Got my frame blasted and painted with por-15 and now ready to start putting it back together. The front-end is getting upgraded with 85 parts but still have the six bolt rear-end which I need to change out. I'm leaning toward leafs but dont know what will work or bolt up. Any help on this???? Have a 350/350 but changing trans. to a 700R4 and going with a one piece drive shaft.

Is your truck a leaf truck, or coil?
What do you intend on using this rig for? If it is a street truck, I would go with the coil in a heart beat. (no pun intended) It is an awsome set up, and hard to improve on.
