I can not for the life of me, remember how to get this thing out..I have been fooling with it for hours now!!! LOL

Did ya get it yet ..if memory serves me ..put paperclip in hole,turn key to ACC. and then pull..good luck

You might have to turn it a litte past ACC. Key must be in. IF yours is as old as mine, you won't even need the paper clip. That really scares the paint guy when he turns the key too far! Ha http://67-72chevytrucks.com/board/ubbhtml/smile.gif Jeff.

Yes, wrathchild is correct. However, get a heavy duty paper clip (the large ones) as the small ones are too thin and bend too easy. I also sprayed penetrating oil in the cylinder so I came out easier. Good luck, I just did it last month. Kurt

Try using a small allen wrenhc in the hole. It is much stronger, and will not make your finger bleed when you get p*ssed and press real hard.

Tap the ring with a screwdriver counter clockwise until it breaks lose then hold the wiring behind the dash and finish turning the front bezel pcs. off
