Not the best pic but you kinda get the idea. I'm always tinkering with it. http://i1168.photobucket.com/albums/.../Red_White.jpg

And I know this isn't two toned but this is my wife's truck. Both are 86's. And my dad has one also (86) two tone silver blue and the same paint scheme. Hers has a rebuild 305 with head work and cam dual plane intake and demon carb /700r4 trans and 373's. Mine has built forged bottom end 355 10.5:1 with 12 bolt rear and TH400. Soon to be dropped and 454!http://i1168.photobucket.com/albums/...ps734868f4.jpg

That 2nd pic is a very pretty truck. I am in the process of painting my 76 GMC and I can't decide on a color. I could go for those colors though. It looks like the 73 burnt orange but the truck doesn't look 73 to me so I'm guessing 79 med saddle. Thanks

This is another interesting color. Is this 75-76 Dark Gold? Thanks.

I couldn't find a place to introduce myself here. I have been driving these trucks all my life since they were new. My 76 Chevy K20 is a mud bog champ around here. I now drive a 76 GMC K15 with original saddle paint. Since I plan on keeping this truck a long time I don't want to look at that saddle for a long time. I am looking for a livlier color. I have been considering 76 Dark gold, 73 green gold, 80 dk camel, 72 dark olive, and maybe some oranges but not bright tangier orange. I love this forum and have been lurking here for a while.

Officially welcome! The post above was my very first as well! Although I am not new the the forum world. I will probably start a huge build thread for both my 86's soon. But we have other projects including a 57 cameo and 66 ford f-100 with a blower motor 427! ;-)

Well, I came across some other threads with that truck in it and found out it is russet and buckskin. Nutsforchevys must be nuts to sell that good lookin' truck. There might be another one of those russet trucks riding around pretty soon.

Good looking truck! It's hard to maintain what you have sometimes! I know the feeling well!

Some beautiful trucks in this thread. My favorite

[QUOTE=78 Chevyrado;3199211]http://www.dragtimes.com/images/1083870770truck3.JPG

This is very subtle and absolutely gorgeous. My square is single color (blue) but if I were to paint it I might add silver in an attempt to make it as attractive as this one.

OOOh, I think I'm salivating. :hm: :four:
