86-88 blue suburban buckets!

1 Attachment(s)
Hey all, I'm looking for some blue sub buckets as stated in title. I've noticed that these years have the dual arm rests. Let me know if you have or know of a set for sale. Thanks a bunch. Pic is what I'm looking for. May take a different color and recover if their nice and priced accordingly.

Matthew

I'm only wanting up to 88'. The 89-91 sub buckets are different in shape and material. I don't want to put that style of interior (89-91 suburban) in my crew cab so I need to stay with the ones in the pic I posted. I like the newer ones, just not original for my crew. Thx tho!!! :metal:

I put the dial on the outside to move it well standing outside

You're a premium member, post in the classifieds.

Took me 6+ months of searching CL regularly to find mine. 89 gray buckets.

Ya I've found a dozen or so 89-91 sub buckets in about very color. They are everywhere. Been focused on a nice blue set 86-88 but if i find a decent set of grey or tan I'll just recover them in original blue material I guess. Let me know peeps. Thx.

Curious if you have actually sought out the original material. I am looking to do the identical thing you are. So far I haven't found anyone that reproduces the exact design of our seats. I have to look at our seats in more detail but it seems there are good passenger seats out there. Besides the seat back adjusting knob being swapped, if we were to find a good passenger seat and put where drivers seat goes wouldn't that work? Just a thought. I am waiting on a quote from a company that says they have material damn close in color and design. I will keep you posted. And if you have any new info, that would be greatly appreciated as well.

Have you checked Brothers? I think they have those seat covers if you already have the seats.

The picture they have on their site is like the one earlier in this post with the dog on the seat. Not the same design. I am going to reach out to them though because they have a link for silver ado seat covers then basic seat covers and both have same picture. I have the Silverado. Thanks for looking out!

Hmmmm. Looks good. I guess the only difference/problem is that the suburbans had arm rests. Wonder how that works. Still have to call them. Thanks for finding this!

I asked him the color and if they are for sale. I never thought finding seats or factory seat covers would be so hard!! Especially for a body style that spans over so many years. Thanks for looking out!

I've been looking for quite a while too, but just for a nice blue set I can just run. Now I'm open too gray or tan and I'll just have them recovered. I agree, they made a bagillion of this style of suburbans but problem is they got USED!!!!

They're still out there, a good set shows up in the classifieds here every few months, you just have to keep watching. I've bought two good pair off members here over the years. Just have to be vigilant about looking and be ready to drive if need be.
