Why? That next generation frame wasn't a massive improvement. Massive loss of value. I have a 1968 K10 on a square body frame. It has a title but I view it as scrap until I get a '68 frame for it. If your frame is shot look for a replacement or replacement parts from the '67 - '72 family

Re: First gen frame and squarebody question.

So heres what I waS thinking. First right on all accounts but I found a project with everything i need to keep my blazer on the road while I restore my 71 frame up. Then swap back.
The project wait for it....is a 1977 chevy Monte Carlo on a built squarebody blazer frame.
