You can never have enough! The guy we bought them from said we could have all of them for 300 or just our pick for 200 so i got em all. I think he was tired of them or something. I`ve seen some really nice six builds. plenty with a turbo setup.

got the new ignition cylinder in and managed to find the factory radio delete plate. I`m gonna check the brakes and other systems then throw a motor in it so i can start driving it while I work on it.

I`m still going to take it down the frame and put a straight six back in it but I am going to drive it while I save up the money for getting the engine built. I also plan to save up for an air suspension setup.

The paint is so bad on it from the years that I think I can get the vo-tech school to do a paint job on it to help preserve the metal before it gets worse. then after I get the engine and other stuff done i will get a professional paint job done on it.

I Didn't want to spend a couple hundred bucks on a cheap Chinese engine hoist so i came across an old one.

It was missing one front leg extension, all the wheels where locked up missing some bolts and the ram was gone.

I have way less in it than a new cheaply made hoist. So now I can install the motor when I pick it up next weekend!

ever consider or have a place to put a chain fall? I went that route instead of the cherry picker and love the dang thing.

I would love to have a chain fall. Unfortunately where I currently have the truck I am not able to do that. I am renting a garage space from a relative until I find a garage of my own. The city will not let me work on my truck at my house since I have just a carport.

I do like those Roll around chain falls that some pick n pulls have.

Well, we got the 305 back in the truck. Got the tranny and everything else hooked up. Next week, when I get the exhaust on I, will take her for a drive and get a short video.

Alright well, I never posted a video. I couldn't get it to work.
but here are some pics instead. The 305 is super worn out but atleast she is back on the road.
I am saving up for paint and body and the engine. Hopefully, it will be soon.
I have never got much anything done on this truck over the years but that's all about to change.
