a 400sb for 500$..Good deal?
 

a friend of mine is going to work in saui arabia...selling his freshly rebuilt 400. he wanted 900 for it but i told him all i had was 500...he said cool...is this a good deal?

That's one h*ll of a friend. ANY rebuilt engine is basicly worth 500 bones. Esp a 400.
Is it stock, or did he add some go power to it? (I'm asuming your talking 400 small block)
Grab it either way.

ok...im not a thief....lol... he knew ive been looking for good short block to build.
never thought he'd part with the motor he had put together for his boat. Going to go look at it tonight(and most likley buy it). all ive heard is that it has an aluminum intake, and was put together buy one of the local engine gurus. man i couldnt sleep last night thinking about it...lol
