Help with Power Boost Brakes

Searching for someone with more knowledge than myself.

Is it possible for brake fluid to leak into the power steering pump on a Hydro Boost brake system?

We have a 1985 K30 that keeps puking fluid out of the power steering reservoir as if it's overfilled even when I've pulled some fluid out with an old turkey baster. At the same time it seems that the brake fluid level is slowly dropping even though I don't see any leaks in the brake system.

Is it possible for brake fluid be to leak into the PS pump? If so, what component needs to be replaced? Master cylinder?

Thank you!

Re: Help with Power Boost Brakes

While it may be possible for the fluid transfer to happen, it is unlikely as both sides are pressurized with a dry cavity in-between them.
