Transmission Crossmember Location

Trying to think of options for an engine & tranny swap. One of the challenges with my truck is that it is so modified I have no idea what is original and what is not (this is my first Blazer). The truck was originally a 350 with the four speed manual that was swapped for a 400 with TH350 still mated to the (what I assume to be) original NP205. But who knows.

Anyway, can someone tell me if it looks like the transmission is in a stock location? Here are pictures of where the crossmember attaches to the frame on both sides. I measured to the bracket for the body mount just forward of the crossmember. Hope that is clear.

Thanks for the help.

Hmmm. Not sure why the top pic is flipped. The image I loaded has the correct orientation.

I can get some but not until the end of next week if no one comes through. Frame pieces should shipped tomorrow but I'm running to the junkyard first thing. If I run out of time it will be Saturday morning.

Anyone out there with a transmission and a tape measure? Would really appreciate the help.

Not the best pics (tough to do alone!). Taken from the passenger side. I may be able to get some from the drivers side if needed as well (it's tighter on that side for me to get to in the garage). Hope it helps.

350 with 4 speed manual.

I don’t see any extra holes in your frame. The TH 350 and the manual SM 465 use the same cross member location.

I also didn't see any extra holes in your frame. 6.125" and 10" appear to be the numbers.
