I like it. I own it's twin. Do you have a pic of the SPID? Looks like it was originally Medium Olive. Being from California does it have the dealer installed 50 gallon gas tank? I've seen several equipped that way on this board.

Welcome to the board! Looks like you have a great truck to start with. I've been wanting a 383 for quite a while now but I can't decide if I want to buy a crate or build my own. The prices on the crate 383's are pretty reasonable.

Good luck with your project and keep us updated.....

Here is the SPID. You are correct, the Olive Green was the original color. It has the 21 gallon tank, it wasn't upgrade. That is something on my wish list, 40~50 gallon tank.

It was in the headliner over the driver side along with the nest.

Welcome!
Nice to see another 4x4 Suburban in my area (I am in the Temecula area).

Cool ride! Seems like SoCal has just as many or more 4x4 Burbs than the Pacific Northwest. Great find and welcome aboard!

Thanks Chris. I'll keep an eye out for local events. I look forward to crossing paths sometime soon.

Thanks everyone for the warm welcome.

Pulled carpet and scraped the floor. Minor rust issues here and there, but kind of what I expected.
