Agree with SCOTI. What is the concern? His work looks good to me. Making custom parts fit. Do you only buy off the shelf parts? All the custom fab parts from aftermarket company's start this way.

I watched both parts of this video and agree with the comments above, this looks to be some pretty decent work. The fitment of his filler pieces at the beginning of Part 2 is actually quite good. It looks like a nice approach to adding rack and pinion to a stock crossmember, something I haven't seen done very often.

Those Dakota R&P's seem to be a common alternative for use on C10's. Seemed like a decent/thorough install as well based on the video.
