hello from australia

hi my name is simon, love the web site glad to be part of it. bought a 1990 454ss from japan about 12 years ago, got it to australia and went through all the mods to get the driving conversion done. after about 6 months finally got it on the road. Had 4 +6 drop kit in it and also put a set of 18 inch lexani krystal wheels on it , back 10 years ago they were a big wheel. Had great times in it, it was a real head turner as there is'nt a great number of these chevs over here. A few years later ended up smashing it not real bad but enough that i would'nt drive it. It sat there for about 4-5 years now all shedded up.With the australian dollar so good i thought heres my chance to get it back on the road. so heres whats happening now Going to try and have the fastest and lowest 454ss in australia. bought a 454 supercharged from the states its running eagle crank eagle h beam rods 8/71 blower twin 750 double pump quick fuel carbs patriot 345 heads and a big roller cam also addapted a big and ugly hat to the carbys for looks and height. Motor runs great all broken in and ready to go. Next on the list is trying to get information about a airbag slamkit , if any body knows dont be shy to contact me.Last of all paint back in its origional onyx black color and try to fit a set of 22 inch rims , which i havent decided what make to get yet. Hopefully post some picks of the build as i'm going through it all the best simobones454
