thanks guys, everyone loves recognition from their piers

i was very nervous going with yellow, I have never had a yellow vehicle before so it was hard for me to pull the trigger with such a different color choice

sometimes you just need to move away from your comfort zone i suppose!

I will attempt drilling it out and i'll try an easy out if it is stubborn not sure what to do with it

i ordered a carpet set fro LMC today along with a new front bumper and brackets and a new dash pad i also ordered all new rubbers all the way around wasn't hard to get up over the $1000 mark which gives you free shipping!

Took it by my body man today and had him give it a once over as well I am going to have him wet sand and buff the whole truck and paint the top maybe flat black and paint the wheels silver the i love the look of the white wheels and dog dish hub caps but not sure it will look good on a black truck

Make sense now....I just don't always put things together!!:ito:
Just gotta love these K5's and MC's!

Schpeen.....looking good man! Love the seats and the custom armrest in the doors. Nice touch!

I'm heading to FL with the wife in May. Wish I had time to see your truck and get a ski in! One of the perks of FL for sure! She was just there during Spring break with my girls. Landed in Miami and stayed in Ft Lauderdale, I believe. She did NOT like Miami airport though....very stressful!

It doesn't look like an open diff....maybe a limited slip of some sort??

Look in your glove box RPO code, G80 in there? Limited slip.

I put in 4.10's with my 33's and I found that to be perfect. Nice and quick, but decent at highway speeds too. Good choice. What brand name of gears are you going with?

Also, be sure to replace your front axle u-joints too (or are you getting all new shafts?) Spicer is a decent one.

I tried the adjustable sleeves in ball joints but the only problem is getting the proper torque setting. Depending where you need the angle, your torque will be tighter or looser than spec. Is an alignment shop doing or you?

yukon axles yes we ordered all new u-joints for the front stub axles and both driveshafts and all new bearings all the way around and pinion gear bearings while we were at it i just don't want to chase a noise or a vibration changing one part at a time so hopefully this eliminates a good bit of the wear and tear items that see the most action! lol looking forward to driving it with the new steering stabilizer too I am really impressed with the Bilsteins wow they are worth every penny i tried to order a bilstein shock for the steering stabilizer but couldn't figure out which one if any would fit the application.

i also ordered the warn premium lock out hubs the auto locking hubs were shot since the PO installed one of the rings in backwards LOL i like the manual hubs anyway.

Re: thinking about getting this in the morning

Nice job and good to get a new set of nuts, there. A lot of times someone doesn't install properly and end off shaving the little nub on one of the nuts. Place first nut on with nub facing out, torque properly (not very tight). Place locking ring in being sure it engages with the nub. I loosen if the nub doesn't align perfectly.

Then the non-nub nut goes on torqued around 150 ft-lbs to lock it all into place.

I've been wanting to upgrade to those hubs....mine came with the cheaper ones from Warn. Let me know how they work and look!

So, was it a limited slip or open diff?

found a new switch for the dash that works the rear window so i was able to drive with all the windows up and AC on max. Truck is way nicer than i expected, it just all come together and not for a whole lot of money imo only problem now is my 65' c10 is getting dusty in the garage from neglect i feel so bad for her lol
