Jegs - Thumbs up from a Canadian

I'll admit that in the past I'd been hesitant to order from anyone south of the border due to hearing so many horror stories from other Canadians.

With my current work in progress I decided that shopping south of the border was going to be absolutely necessary. Supporting Canadian businesses would be nice but it sure isn't easy. I was able to get the GMPP serpentine setup for my LS3 through Jegs for less than a Canadian GM dealer would pay for it through GM, pretty silly considering where our economy currently stands.

Anyway back on topic. I ordered a full fuel system, procar seats, derale electric fan, ls conversion mounts and the serpentine setup all to the tune of $2500. We hit a snag early on as mastercard blocked the purchase, Jegs called me right away and I called in and had mastercard allow the purchase. As expected a few items were on backorder for a few days. My shipment went out on the 1st and arrived here on the 7th, very quick IMO.

The old shipper/reciever in me came out and I checked all the contents over the weekend and found that a 8AN to 6AN reducer package contained a fitting to go from a female (pipe?) threaded assembly to 6AN and not the 2 piece reducer. I called Jegs about it this morning and they gave me a couple different options and since I wasn't in a rush opted for a refund to my MC then I will reorder later on. They also said just to keep the part, it isn't worth shipping back. Who knows if I'll ever have a use for it, but I appreciate not having to go through the trouble of shipping it back.

So overall the customer service, website ease of use and Canadian shipping arrangements left me very much satisfied with my purchase.

Brokerage charge was $47, duty was $1.98. Tax on the order showed under shipping charges but tax is tax, you will pay that either way.

I found Jegs was good to order from in my case as well.
