I just picked up a set of 18x8 rims with 255 55 18 i put them one the fronts are perfect but the backs are way sunkin in..I have at least 3" clearence from tire to outer lip...back space is 4.5..I guess i did not take into consideration i have dic brakes in the back..Should I run some spacers or sell the rims????Any help would be great.

I did the same, I bought 4 18x8 with 4.5 BS, 255/50/18 tires and felt the rears were too small so I bought the same wheel in 18x9 with 5.5 BS 295/45/18 tires and every thing is good now. The rears would be perfect if they were 5.0 BS but they are fine as is.

a good set of adapters are going to cost you.. It all depends on what you want.. Me personally I would probably sell them and get something else. Me personally I like how my 20's fit and I'm running a 275/40 on the rear..

Here is a 20 for reference..
