I've seen another Longhorn...in the Netherlands!!!

This weekend I was at a meeting, and I saw this Longhorn:

I didn't met the owners, but at least I know I'm not the only one in the Netherlands owning a Longhorn :)

WOW, what are the odds in THAT????
Good looking rig too.

Longhornmail....That reminds me since you our the resident exper. I saw what I thought was a longhorn this weekend, but had GMC front end. We were moving in different direnctions so I didn't get a real close look.

Did GMC have a longhorn or just Chevy??

Longhorn Man 08-25-2002 06:10 PM

Pretty much.
They never put the Longhorn badges on them, nor any other name like that, but they DID have the exctended bed 133 inch W.B. heavy duty 3/4 and one ton trucks WITH beds.
Other than the badges, all was the same except grill, badges, and certian options not available on one or the other.
There is actually a few owners here on the board, one in Cincinati for certian.

Cool...Thought it might have been all the southern pine pollen and being stuck in the Bonneville too long.

Now I can bug my wife about the trucks on the road too. Don't get any better than that!!

I didn't think the Netherlands was big enough to hold two Longhorns. That truck and camper package looks amazing. Somebody did a nice job of re-siding that camper.(I'm guessing)

That is a huge camper, kinda looks like optimus prime if there were some red in there somewhere, remember transformers? or am I an idiot?

Now I see why my truck had brackets on the upper part of the fenders above the C20 badges when I got it. I couldnt figure out what they were. Now I know.

I never saw the emblem CustomCamper/20 below the rear
side marker lights before. It didn't had a Longhorn emblem
on the truck, but there was one on the back of the camper unit.

He probably lost one of the Longhorn badges...they don't like staying on the truck, that explains the one badge misplaced.
What's the 25 on your hat?

Edmond 08-26-2002 08:00 AM

Well then they were missing on both sides.
The only Longhorn emblem was on the camper unit.

The '25' was on my T-Shirt.
It's this:

An annual meeting in Sweden over the period of 3 days.
This year it was the 25th jubilee.
More than 12.000 cars visited the meeting during the weekend
of July 5th, 6th and 7th.
