Anyone have a source for the 73-80 Bumper Impact Guards?
 

I just rechromed by bumpers and I really need a set of front/ rear NOS impact guards for a 73-80. To my surprise, I can't find them anywhere. Anyone know someone who has these or is reproducing them? LMC and everyone don't have em.

I found a set but they're all misshaped and beat to hell. Let me know if you find what you're looking for.

Mine are useable, but it just sucks to install semi beat up strips on a newly chromed bumper. If I knew I was going to have trouble finding replacements, I would have been a lot more careful taking them off.

I have that same bumper on my 79 GMC crew cab dually I bought from Oregon. Is that the original bumper? My tag is missing from my glovebox and I've been trying to figure out if it's the correct one?

Joe, my bumper I don't believe is original to the truck, but it is a GM bumper and impact guards. I've seen a few special edition trucks that came with the guards, and some Blazers as well. Evidently it's an uncommon option since I've had zero luck locating new guards. The option should be listed on the option sticker, but it's not on mine.

The bumper guard is option code V31.
the TruckandCarshop.com has a impact strip for 73-87 but from the paper catalog pic I can tell what it really looks like and I can't find the catalog online.
They're in Orange Ca. part number is 73-30650 phone #is 1-800-243-8947

Thanks, unfortunately those are for the bumper guards, not the bumper impact strips. Those fit these guys:
