1959 Chevy Apache THROTTLE LINKAGE HELP! NEWBIE!

Sent this note to Bubba on the forum but no response. Just trying to get some help as a NEWBIE for an idea pool for a linkage setup that would work seeing that my Holley 7448 faces either firewall side or front grille side. Any help would be appreciated as it's my first go around with a modification on this old truck. Just starting out.

Hey Bubba:

I was browsing through trying to find an answer and saw your post on the intake manifold and Holley 7448 setup you created. Good job sir.

What I am trying to configure is similar in that my 235 Engine 6 cyl inline creates a problem with the throttle linkage facing the firewall! My other option is the way you have it ... facing the front grill. I noticed you had rigged a springs for your attachment for the linkage.

Would you be able to share how to connected the dots down to your pedal linkage? It's my first go at modifying this 1959 Chevy Truck Apache 3100. I just started this rebuild about 2 months ago and have replace the manifolds to accommodate dual headers and 2 brl carb. Thus the reason why I now have a Holley 7448 facing the non-traditional way and need a solution for the throttle linkage.

Any help would be greatly appreciated sir.

Thanks again,

Eli

PS I can email you pics if that will help. Or, the pics are in a dropbox at:
