I did that front valence seam shave too... really like how it turns out.
IMO it removes the distraction of the seams, so the eye can fully appreciate the lines/contours of the face of the hood.

I like what you have in mind for the tail lights too, cannot wait to see more on that one !!

Got the interior painted. Doors, fenders and header panel jammed. My boy Isaac from Pinnacle Refinish in Garland is getting down on the paint. Time to start putting it back together.
