C-20

I need some info guy's. I posted in the regular 67/72 truck area but got only 2 replies.
I need info on what I need to do to install this setup into my ramp truck. 86 c-30 whole front cross member plus sway bar. Is it a direct bolt in with only minor work. I know I will need to have the springs, rotors and calipers all cleaned up, but is it a bolt in deal. Any suggestions on installing it welcomed. For $100.00 I just couldn't pass it up. I went and looked at it today and gave him $50.00 and told him I'd be back in the morning to start taking it a part. He texted me a while ago and said he had it ready for me to come get it!:metal::metal::metal: :chevy: |
Re: C-20
The complete cross member should bolt in. Get the engine stands, sway bar brackets and anything else you can while you are there.

Well I got it this morning. The guy text me about 9am and said it was all ready to go. Come get it. He had already dropped it off the frame and had it hooked up to his tractor to set it on the ramp truck! Yes I got the sway bar but he wouldn't let me take the brackets.
The Ramp truck yurns out it's a C-30 not a C-20. per the S #.:metal: |
Re: C-20
For what you paid that was a good deal.

I had a guy give me a quote for blasting it. $125.00. So when I get the time to have it done I'll have it blasted and then start on the swap which is looking like after the first of the year.:chevy: |
