I posted my truck for sale a few months back , and struggled with the thought of letting it go. So I removed the post. I'm still sick at the idea of losing it but I know it's in the best interest of my family. My kids are growing up quick and I have some things I'd like to do with them before it's too late !! Last time I listed it I opted to keep the Big Block engine. This time it all goes complete and running with all parts I have included.
So here we go......

1972 4x4 short wheel base
( SPID was ruined years ago in a repaint but I know what it is I've known the truck for many years )

Originally : 350 , 3ott, np205. ( I still have all of this )

Currently : 454 , sm465 (4 speed) , np205.

Also have complete Auto setup from : Steering column , linkages , 350 Turbo , np205 ect..
( Everything needed for conversion still complete in different chassis )

This truck is a RUNNING , DRIVING , WORKING project !!

I USE THIS TRUCK WEEKLY !!!

The truck has usual rust.

If someone wanted to tow or haul heavy loads there are some areas in the rear chassis that could be addressed. ( I have a complete other chassis and parts to accomplish this )

I use it like it is as I have other heavy trucks to do my hauling with.

All of this should be discussed over a call and I will be 100 percent honest and detailed about the truck. With pictures of any and everything as well.

It really is an awesome truck, and EVERYONE in town wants to look at it when your out in it.

I have the original steering wheel and many many other parts..
( The mirrors are 1969)

I just noticed that the picture of the cab drip rail makes it look very bad. That was old cracked up sealant. I removed it and layed some paint down in the drip rail to protect it. The rail and around the windshield seems to be in good shape. Just needs to be re-sealed with some self leveling sealer I would think..

Yes that would be fine. There is no rust above visors inside the cab. The cab is in pretty good shape. The rocker panels , outer floor pan areas, and inner bedsides in front corners are the rust areas on the body panels.

This truck is in better and more complete shape then most or any I've seen restored around home here. I just described it to be what it is and 100% honest right out of the gate. I drive it anywhere and everywhere I take a notion , but I'm a mechanic by trade and don't mind at all the little quirks about an old truck

The rear spring hangers themselves are the worst part of the rear of the chassis. I have a complete set to replace these in great shape. I bought them from a member here a few years back. The frame does have some rough areas around these but is repairable. I also have a complete 1972 LWB 4x4 running gear and frame that I was planning on using to make the repairs. I've recently been thinking it would be smarter to make those repairs and let this chassis be saved to convert a LWB c10 to 4x4 as well !! I LIKE 4x4s... ��

The frame is pitted and thin around all 4 of the rear spring hangers. It's also crusty where the crossmember is riveted in at the forward rear hangers. I have the frame pieces and 2 sets of complete hangers to repair this. The frame sections I have are part of a complete 1972 4x4 long bed chassis. I think it might be better to just repair this one and have the other for another 4x4 project or conversion. From the hangers forward the frame is great. I'm not sure what caused the rear only to suffer the thinning. I've used this truck like this since I've owned it.

Would you consider selling it without the motor transmission and transfer case?
I'm not a fan of the gas guzzling big blocks.... and I have everything I need to swap in a 5.3 LS 4WD combo
