performance online tubular engine mounts
Hello guys I am installing a 396 engine in my 69cst. I have tried the 73-up stands and its been a mess. I found the pol tubular engine mounts. Has anyone used them with a BBC? I'm tempted to buy a set and try them out. Thanks for the help.

I tried using them to mount a SBC in a four wheel drive and they wouldn't work. Wish they would have told me that upfront.

Re: performance online tubular engine mounts
I called the tech support and the guy said oh yeah they work no problems and was really upset I didn't purchase them right then. I said well I wan to do some research and he really wanted me to give him my credit card number to make a sale. I may buy them and try them. With the 73 up stands it's been a mess. I have plenty of header clearance. I purchased the jegs headers. The trans crossmember is pushed back like an inch or two. It looks like I need to shorten the driveline. I was hoping not to do that. I hope these make it fall right in but that's wishful thinking. Thanks guys.

Re: performance online tubular engine mounts
I did not have to shorten my driveline at all. Like I said, I slightly dented one of the tubes on my headers to make them clear the lower control arms. My burb is laid out with a 4.5/6 drop & everything seems to work great. No problems with the firewall clearance either.
