Well I have not posted an update in like 3 years. I have been very busy. The truck now has a 454, scored it at pick n pull and rebuilt it with a nice bumpy cam and aluminum heads. have it installed and am still working on hooking everything up. added a hydroboost for the one ton brakes. the 383 started smoking alot so I pulled it out to inspect and i decided that I wanted a 454. probably gonna save it for the next project and build it again when we have something to put it in. I ordered a custom license plate. cant believe nobody snagged that one yet. yes it is real. only took like 6 months for the dmv to make it.. lol. here are some pics. enjoy!

I have been thinking lately about 37" military grade tire setup also on my 1971 Blazer. With the 4" lift, did you have to do any fender trimming? How is that setup off road? Eventually, I will go with a d60 front, but for now I will be running the d44 front and 14b rear.

newstedcomeback looking good! Did you have to do much trimming to fit 37s with a 4"?
